WASHINGTON, DC
The US government has announced that,
in the event that US military strikes are deemed necessary to combat terrorist
organizations in Afghanistan, US troop movements and bombings will not
be broadcast on cable and network news outlets, as they commonly were during
Operation Desert Storm. In addition, it was stated that there are
no plans to allow news reporters to deploy with the troops, as they have
traditionally.
In what industry analysts are calling
a "coup", Pay Per View Incorporated has signed a deal that would grant
them exclusive coverage of the event. The deal, rumored to be valued
at nearly one billion dollars, will also reportedly grant Pay Per View
exclusive rights to at least three future police beatings and one class-five
hurricane to be named later.
