The Weak in Review 5/19/99
I backed into a pole on Saturday afternoon.
A bunch of us were crossing Henderson St on Saturday night
when a young hip hopper in a styled-up Acura nearly ran over us because
he felt that we were disrespectin’ his right of way. Gordon from
Piefer Lab had no patience for the young man’s frontin’ and was forced
to put the smack down on his rear fender. The hip hopper stopped
his vehicle and Gordon ran off and was not seen for the remainder of the
evening. It may have been my imagination, but I thought I heard the
young hip hopper shout after him, “Jeah, you bes’ run an’ hide. What
silly-ass mutha gonna slap my ride.”
Movie Review: Star Wars Phantom Menice (* * * -)
It was like a good recurring skit from SNL--
you know what you are going to get, you get it, and you like it, but it
is 90% the same as what you have seen before. I give it three stars
and a minus sign.
